Our Hostile Environment Awareness Training (HEAT) equips individuals with the necessary skills and knowledge to navigate challenging security environments during travel or extended stays.

Preparing for High-Security Risk Environments

Our HEAT program is specifically designed for regions with elevated security risks, including areas with high political threats, heightened terrorist activities (red travel advisory), military conflicts, military presence, and armed militias. This training aims to ensure your readiness and increase your safety while operating in such environments.

Learning Objectives

The training focuses on achieving the following learning objectives:

• Enhancing awareness of personal security risks
• Acquiring knowledge and skills to effectively manage personal security risks
• Dealing with aggression and hostile situations
• Managing rapidly deteriorating security conditions
• Understanding appropriate behaviour in the event of abduction
• Building personal resilience
• Developing basic medical knowledge for emergencies
• Upon completion of the training, participants will gain the confidence to assess dangerous situations more effectively and respond with appropriate actions, thereby minimizing their safety risks.

Expert Instructors and Practical Training

Our instructors for this specialized training program come from elite special forces units of Defence and have extensive experience as former military and/or security personnel in high-risk areas. The training combines theoretical lessons with practical exercises, role plays, and scenario-based training to ensure a hands-on learning experience.

Training Location and Duration

The training is conducted in challenging woodland surroundings, providing ample space for practical exercises. The standard program spans three full days, including two nights. We also offer customizable training solutions to cater to the specific needs of our clients.
